Okay it's time to update the Live Houston section. And um, man the Chicago section is not coming along very fast.
I forgot how slow going researching bands can be. I spent about five hours last week listening to Chicago bands
online and I added one to my list.

6/28/2007

Okay I'm gonna try real hard to give this a proper go. I'm talkin updating the live
listings Houston & Chicago. Now the Galveston Music scene is dead. So I won't worry
too much about that. I'd like to find some new groups as well for these two cities.
Especially Chicago that section needs some attention. And maybe even add a new
city to the list soon. I'll probably do some emailing also, because
no one knows the site is back up but myself. This will probably take a week of work.
So wish me luck. Cause I'm gonna need it. They've been gone for five months and I still
haven't been able to stay focused for five seconds at a time yet. Awe personal.

It's a March Monday morning, and the weather is great. The weekend was fun and another week ahead to rock out. Spring is a good time for music, make sure and take advantage. Let's see what do we have this week: Whose Live in Chicago. Bandwise that is. Houston & Galveston, Texas.

3/21/2006

Thanks for everyone who came to the Synagogue Show in Galveston. It was very interesting and fun. The Satanist Against Global Warming debuted for the first time in front of a crowd. Really smooth performance too. Anyways check the Live Band listings in the Houston/Galveston Sections. Keep on checking back and give me a hand for crying out loud. I'll post about anything on this site.

3/15/2006

Sorry, I fucked off last week. But here we go. Check out whose live in Houston this week, and check out what they're planning down in Galveston this weekend. Find all that in the Music Section. Ha Ha I put 2/28/2005 on the last news heading. Ha Ha. Well she's Wednesday. Half way through this week. Yep. Yawn, uh, keep on rocking I guess.

2/28/2005

Lot of good bands in Houston Last week. It's not fair that there is no shuttle or train that runs from Galveston to Houston. I could not watch a one of em. If you can, consider doing some reviews and sending them to us. I caught a great Houston Press article recently, called Band Suicide. It was about how Houston Bands split before making it. But also the point was made that Houston has a great rock band population right now but no fan scene. Which I agree. Live Houston

The new logo on the front page was donated by J. D. Duke of Permanent Eclipse - Galveston band. Thanks J. D.

New Nome's Poems and use the first painting in Feather's exhibit as desktop background. You can find that in the Artwork section if ya look.

Being displeased with this weeks Sermon. Weighing on my mind. I went for a better one.

Sermon

2/20/2006

Oh my is it February. Been having too much fun here lately humans. Mardi Gras Galveston. Speaking of which I've been turned onto an underground music society so to speak, here in Galveston. Apparently there are some real good musicians here in town, I've always known but didn't really. The Union of Galveston is started and will be a great addition to the site. Unlike that Nature page that's going nowhere. I would of never thought so much is going on here. I apologize to the Houston bands for being a dick and not updating the live bands listing. I'll see what I can do in the next couple of hours.

The Sermon

1/26/2006

Laziness. satan's best tactic. Hitting a sore spot with the Americans. I'm very lazy this site is proof. Could that little winy feeling that say's, "Aww Mom I don't wanna", could that be you know who. It's easy to say no that's us, that's humans. But little things have went long ways before. Anypoop. I'm back for the time being and so is The Union of Human. Live Houston This Weekend.

This weeks damn sermon

1/13/2006

Dear Humans. Sorry I've been lazy on the site lately. Don't worry it's not going anywhere. I had a good night at open mic night Old Quarter here in Galveston. I plan on getting up to Houston pretty soon. See some familiar sounds. Take care Humans and I'll get to work on Union of Human soon.

All Right! All FN Right! Gettin it together on the Union of Human web site! Gonna make first contact with the Houston Bands. Gotta keep up the Whose Playing Live Houston page. And I've gotta expand the Chicago section. There is a new poem from The Feather Nome Creations under Human Artwork. And as always an ever-depressing Human Sermon.

The Human Sermon

It's been a long couple of weeks. Has it? Who knows I've been drunk. But apparently I haven't been updating the site. Added a new poem in The Feather Nome Creations section under Human Artwork. And this weeks sermon.

The Human Sermon

11/10/2005

Howdie Fellow Humans. It's been a crazy couple of weeks here lately. I started work at a local coffee house. I'm tweaked about it. The BBQ place didn't work out even though I kinda desperately wanted it to, coincidently it didn't matter I'm better off in the cool ass position I'm in now. Alright, anyways, what we got here, Houston Bands Live this weekend. Also check out this weeks Sermon as well I have something to say.

The Human Sermon

11/4/2005

Hey folks, it's Friday evening and I'm exhausted from a surprisingly fun Thursday. If you happen to see this tonight I'm doing a last minute Live Bands Houston this weekend. And Broken Spoke is playing tonight in Galveston at the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe.

10/27/2005

Hey Hey Humans. I started a new job at a BBQ place. And all in all it's pretty good. Also I put up the paintings from my cousin Heather that I said I would last week. There's a new Who's Playing Live this Weekend in Houston. Sorry I didn't do a whole week, I know I missed some good gigs on the week days. What else do I got for ya, oh yeah a poem from Nome, my Aunt Nola. And Besides working on the Chicago Section I'm going to start a Seattle section cause my buddy Chris moved out that way. This is all yours this week from Union of Human for only 19.99 plus shipping and handling. Oh yeah I wanted to also tell the Dimes personally that I'm sorry for no-showing here lately, what can I say I'm frickin broke here, huh. And Missing the LP4/SoundExchange/BBQ/Beer, ew, that one, well it hurt. But Houston you can't keep me out forever!

10/17/2005

A hurricane comes our way and the site is neglected for a month. I will use any excuse to be lazy. Sorry about that but amazingly I didn't have an overabundant amount of people emailing me saying get back to work. Anyways, the music section will be alive again and I've added some artwork my cousin Heather was kind enough to donate to the site. Some paintings she has been working on over the last couple of years. As for the job situation I'm still unemployed and loving it. That should end real soon though. But everything is fine and I'm having one hell of a time.

The Sermon

9/18/2005

Well folks, stress free for the time being! I was asked to resign from being the computer tech I once was where I once worked. And I happily did so. I tried to get them to make things right for me and the organization and it didn't happen, but I wasn't cut out for that kind of environment anyways. So I'll  keep ya updated on what happens to my Life.

This weeks Sermon

9/10/2005

Chicago is in the works. And I added a Nature section so we can remember she's somewhat alive out there somewhere. Shit I know that sounds bad after the hurricane but it will be a good addition to the site. Sort of a anti-pollution, lets enjoy it while we can thing.

This weeks Sermon

9/3/2005

Well humans, I've been slacking on the site. I'll try and get  to work today. It's a beautiful rainy day in Galveston, nice and cool. It sure has been one sorry ass sad week huh? Work is killing me, people are dying a few hundred miles to the east, and lots more alive but in bad shape. The tremendously huge corporation starbucks won against Star Bock Beer in a name infringement case, stopping Star Bock from selling nationally. And one of my favorite bands broke up. This week was fucked. But it is Labor Day weekend so you know what that means, catch an extra band on Sunday night and try to have fun, cause there ain't no work Monday.

8/28/2005

Added a Comedy Section, and I caught some great shows at Super Happy Fun Land this weekend. I wanted to say thank you Daniel Duke for doing some High Tech Top of the Line Web-Graphics for the site, http://www.myspace.com/d2graphix I do appreciate it. Check out his site, and check out The Super Happy Fun Land in the Venues section of Union Of Houston.
